We will use virtual learning, rather than in-person classes for Summer 2021.
In order to prioritize the health and safety of our community, The Program will utilize virtual learning for Summer 2021. We are eager to share additional details of our program in the acceptance package.
At Texas Southern University, we are deeply committed to education and during the global COVID-19 outbreak, we have redoubled our efforts to provide an authentic, relevant, and academically stimulating program to our Students. In going virtual with our Summer Program, we have been guided by the desire to continue to offer students as much opportunity for STEM education as possible.
We are confident that our virtual program will provide the standard of excellence that students, parents, and partner schools have trusted over the years.

The Department of Engineering of Texas Southern University , in collaboration with the Army funded UNITE program, will be hosting its Annual Pre-College Engineering Summer Program. The program encourages and helps prepare students to pursue a college education in engineering and related fields, as part of a national initiative to develop a talented and trained STEM workforce.
