On Saturday, February 10, 2018, The College of Science, Engineering and Technology (COSET) participated in the annual Houston Hispanic Forum (HHF) at the George R. Brown Convention Center. “The Houston Hispanic Forum is designed to empower and inspire the success of the large and fast growing Hispanic community in the greater Houston area, thereby strengthening the community.” The HHF Career and Education Day was specifically created to inform and better prepare the populace by providing information about careers, colleges and financial aid to students and parents through this event. Each year HHF hosts for students from all grade levels and across Texas to begin thinking about the types of careers there are in the world and to preparing themselves for college now. Over 1,000 students along with their parents and/or schools attended the free event.
