Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) — 2022

WHO: All COSET undergraduate students

WHAT: Research under supervision of faculty mentors

WHEN: June 6 – August 12 (10 weeks)

Benefits:

• $2,000 stipend for each participating student
• $1,000 for each faculty mentor for supplies and others 
• COSET will support about 10 qualified students.

Mentor Support guidelines:

• SURP faculty mentors are eligible to receive support for supplies or conference travel up to $1,000. No international travel is permitted.
• SURP supplies purchased with your personal funds will not be reimbursed.
• SURP valid quotes must be obtained from a vendor on TSU Approved Vendor List: http://www.tsu.edu/about/administration/finance/departments/procurementservices/pdf/approved-vendors-list.pdf. All purchases have to be made per University guidelines.
• SURP requisitions can be submitted until November 30, 2022. Any requisitions received after this date will not be processed.
