Cardiovascular Research Program

Rice’s Summer Cardiovascular Research Internship Program is organized through the Institute for Biosciences and Bioengineering.  This is an American Heart Association-funded program offering the chance to work in the lab of several possible mentors across the departments of Bioengineering, Biosciences, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Chemistry, Computational and Applied Mathematics, Psychology, Sociology, and Statistics at Rice.

Located adjacent to the Texas Medical Center, Rice offers a unique opportunity for undergraduates to perform cutting-edge cardiovascular research ranging from fundamental science and translational medicine to community health.

This internship is open to U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents and International Students currently holding a student visa. Applicants must be high school graduates.

This program is also described at http://news.rice.edu/2017/01/25/rices-new-summer-cardiovascular-research-internship-program-focuses-on-heart-disease/

We are particularly encouraging students from Houston to apply.
