Mohammed Suyedur Luqman Rahman, who is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Transportation Planning and Management at TSU, was recognized by the Council of University Transportation Centers (CUTC) as the Center for Advanced Multimodal Mobility Solutions and Education (CAMMSE) outstanding Student of the Year. He attended the CUTC banquet the at the annual meeting of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) in Washington, D.C. where he was honored among the peers and hundreds of transportation professionals and received his award and certificate from United State department of Transportation (USDOT). The award highlights outstanding University Transportation Center (UTC) students and their accomplishments in the field of transportation. Mohammed is a graduate research assistant in the department of Transportation Studies at Texas Southern University. He works under Dr. Mehdi Azimi on the research projects sponsored by CAMMSE, the Tier 1 UTC consortium of five universities, led by the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC).
