HackHouston 2019 is the third hackathon hosted in the spring by TSU Computer Society at Texas Southern University’s College of Science, Engineering, and Technology (COSET).
It is the largest hackathon they have hosted with over 200 participants and about 150 student attendees. A hackathon is a fun and friendly competition that creates a space filled with curious university students eager to create whatever they want with a team or by themselves within 24 hours.
It is a free event filled with workshops, games, food, and prizes. Ultimately, it provides real-world experience for students to put on their resume, gain skills, network, and invoke innovative curiosity.
