Department of Environmental and Interdisciplinary Sciences

The Department of Environmental and Interdisciplinary Sciences (EIS) offers the following Degrees, Master of Science (M.S. thesis and non-thesis) and Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental Toxicology. The teaching facilities, research facilities, and faculty members for the Department are housed on the 3rd floor of TSU Science Center with the Department Office located in Room 319. In addition, the department offers the general education undergraduate course in Geology (GEOL 141).
Financial support is awarded competitively to Ph.D. students in the way of Fellowships (up to $20,000/year), graduate tuition fellowships, and TA positions (for the Geology course within EIS as well as limited numbers of biology and/or chemistry TA positions). M.S. students are eligible to compete for graduate tuition fellowships and TA positions.
