All are connected and operated by computers and software for image analysis and processing. The lab is equipped with research facilities that enable the work with wide range of organisms such as bacteria, fungi, algae, insects, and nematodes. Currently, we are using the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans to understand the adverse effects of different environmental factors and pollutants on the living systems. Also the lab is equipped with a microtome for histology, histopathology and histochemistry research. The lab is equipped with 2 refrigerators, a -80 freezer, balances, and other small equipment.
