Abstract

The term “scale-free networks” is used to mean graphs satisfying the power law degree distribution. In this talk I will discuss the power law and provide examples of power law graphs. We will also discuss the Erdos-Renyi Model of Random graphs and the rise of giant component. I intend to give a series of talks on Complex Networks, this is the first talk.
