Department of Industrial Technologies

The primary mission of the Department of Industrial Technology is to offer programs of study designed to prepare students as “management-oriented technical professionals” who have practical knowledge, competencies, skills, and training to serve and function in the Industrial/Manufacturing Enterprise System. In pursuing this mission, the Department seeks to prepare Industrial Technologists and Technical Managers for career opportunities in the Manufacturing, Construction, and Communications Industries. The academic disciplines of Construction Technology and Design Technology are offered through the Department of Industrial Technology. The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Industrial Technology is offered at the undergraduate level. All programs within the Department of Industrial Technologies are accredited by the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE).
