The TSU-Unite Precollege engineering program is a four week, pre-collegiate summer experience for talented high school students from groups historically underserved in STEM. Held at Texas Southern University, this program encourages students to pursue college majors and careers in engineering and other STEM-related fields through a program of focused hands-on rigorous academics, enrichment, and career exploration.
NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS:
The Department of Engineering at Texas Southern University , in collaboration with the Army funded UNITE program, will be hosting its Annual Pre-College Engineering Summer Program. The program encourages and helps prepare students to pursue a college education in engineering and related fields, as part of a national initiative to develop a talented and trained STEM workforce. Individuals eligible for Unite must be rising 9th-rising 12th grade students in summer 2020, and they must meet two qualifications of populations considered underserved in STEM areas (please see the qualifications below.)
