On January 30, 2019, the following organizations, American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) TSU Student Chapter, Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals Student Chapter and Women in Aviation, and Int’l (Maroon Tails) in the Aviation Science and Technology program, presented oral proposals to the Student Government Association (Student Financial Advisory Committee). Aviation Department leadership believes students need to gain additional exposure in the Industry by participating in conferences geared towards their chosen profession.
It is with great pleasure to announce that all three organizations received funding in the amount $2,500.00! This is a major milestone for the Aviation Science and Technology program since it’s the first time that all three student organizations presented and received funding.
