Biography

Dr. Qi is a professor and Chair in the Department of Transportation Studies in the Texas Southern University, USA. Dr. Qi received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in transportation planning and engineering from the New York University at Polytechnic institution. She has served as the Principle Investigator for many research projects sponsored by various Transportation agencies and has published more than 50 research scientific journal papers and technical reports. Currently, Dr. Qi is serving as the member on the Transportation Research Board (TRB) standing Committees, ABE40- Critical Transportation Infrastructure Protection, and TRB ABJ70 – Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Computing Applications, under the National Academies.
