The Department of Mathematics is a part of the College of Science, Engineering, & Technology (COSET) and is one of the largest serving departments at the University. Therefore, we offer degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels including a Bachelor of Science and a Masters’ of Science degree in mathematics. Also, students majoring in other academic disciplines within our college and at the university may minor in Mathematics as well.
In addition, Texas Southern University is a Historically Black University (HBCU) and serves in-state and out-of-state students as well. Texas Southern University is amongst the highest enrollment for HBCUs.
