At the heart of scientific discovery and student success, the Department of Biology at Texas Southern University offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with three unique tracks:

•  Comprehensive Biology

•  Pre-Health Professional

•  Biology with GIS Certification

Whether you’re preparing for medical or graduate school, pursuing a career in science education, or entering a STEM profession, our curriculum is designed to open doors.

We also offer a two-year Pre-Nursing program to help students meet admission requirements for professional nursing schools.
